Gramenon was founded in 1978 and is located in Montbrison-Sur-Lez in the most northern part of the southern Côtes du Rhône area at an altitude of 350-metres. Managed by Michèle Aubery since the passing of her husband in the late 90's, she is now assisted by her son Maxime François Laurent, a talented wine maker in his own right.

Rarely do wines of Cotes du Rhone status cause such a fervor, but the  beauty of the terroir accompanied by Michele and Maxime's skill and understanding of their surrounds creates wines of place and exceptional beauty that are eagerly awaited and enjoyed for their deft touch, purity and complexity.

Gramenon’s tete de cuvee, entirely Grenache from vines around 120 ish years of age. Typical of Gramenon’s style, the wine is incredibly refined, elegant and pure, yet with incredible depth and layers of complexity.  Silken, supple and very lengthy, this is an impressive wine year in year out that has drawn comparisons with Burgundy.

A rare show stopper.
