Gramenon was founded in 1978 and is located in Montbrison-Sur-Lez in the most northern part of the southern Côtes du Rhône area at an altitude of 350-metres. Managed by Michèle Aubery since the passing of her husband in the late 90's, she is now assisted by her son Maxime François Laurent, a talented wine maker in his own right.

Rarely do wines of Cotes du Rhone status cause such a fervor, but the  beauty of the terroir accompanied by Michele and Maxime's skill and understanding of their surrounds creates wines of place and exceptional beauty that are eagerly awaited and enjoyed for their deft touch, purity and complexity.

Poignee de Raisins is mostly Grenache with a little Cinsault coming from the younger vines on the estate vineyards. Bright and fresh, almost thirst quenching red that is hard to stop drinking.

A bowl of red fruits billow from the glass, a vibrant palate of the same red fruit spectrum, a lick of spice and a cool mineral edge, lithe and expressive this runs long and fine. Serving this at a cool temperature is advised and a quick decant never goes astray with this cuvee either.

Always a great wine.
