Château Mont-Redon is one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s most historic and respected estates, with roots dating back to 1344. The estate boasts some of the appellation’s finest terroir, with vineyards perched on the iconic galets roulés (rolled stones) that define the region.
From vineyards in the Luberon and Bouches du Rhône, this Saint Max descendant blends Grenache, Caladoc, Merlot, and Syrah. Grapes are de-stemmed, gently pressed, and briefly macerated for a pale, aromatic wine. No malolactic fermentation keeps its natural acidity and freshness. Aged on fine lees for 2 months, it’s bottled early, in January or February after harvest.
