Agnes and Didier started out in the late 80's in the small enclave of Beine, working and acquiring small holdings that now total a little over ten hectares. Didier does cary the infamous surname of Chablis, he apprenticed to Vincent in his early years, but has taken his own path, to write their own quality focused chapter that has now been carried forward by their son Florent.
These are impeccable wines of value, which is a hard thing to find in Chablis these days. A generosity of weight but with finesse, not falling into the trap of being ultra lean just for the sake of it. Embracing the use of stainless steel allowing the fruit to unfold in the glass, the soils cropping up at the right time to brace the pale yellow fruit that is tightly wound over an energetic and lengthy core. This is an AC that punches well above its weight.
Stock up on these while you can before the word gets out, excellent drinking, with excellent value.
