Chateau Lanessan is an immense property of 350 acres close to the Garonne river in the Haut Medoc, with around 85 acres of that planted out mostly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with small amounts of Petit Verdot and Franc.

Situated between Beychevelle and Gruaud Larose, Lanessan also benefits from a good position along the river and terroir of gravel and river stones along their elevated slopes.

The blend is 2/3 Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a very small amount of Petit Verdot. The wines have a long history of being very well made with frequent talk of their quality being above Cru Bourgeois Superieur status.

These bottles are in their original case with excellent labels and fill levels in the very high shoulder to base of neck.
