With Dujac revered as one of the benchmark producers of Burgundy, its pretty easy to gloss over the fact that Jacques Seysses only established the domaine with a modest amount of experience in 1967, having apprenticed to Gerard Potel at Pousse d'Or for a few vintages before acquiring and renaming Domaine Graillet.
A winery of such influence, producing wines of such beauty with such a short history is almost unheard of. Starting with modest holdings, they have been slowly added to over the years and remain a family affair with the next generation coming on board and taking the reigns across all aspects of this celebrated domaine.
Widely recognised for their two ethereal Grand Cru wines Clos de la Roche and Clos Saint Denis, they also have quite the stable of Premier Cru vineyards that produce stunning wines also.
