The wines of Domaine Jamet are seen as a bench mark of Syrah and that of Cote Rotie. This family Domaine has 25 parcels spread throughout the Cote Brune and Cote Blonde which Jean Paul knows intimately.
This Cote du Rhone is 100% Syrah from four vineyards in Ampuis, almost a baby Rotie if you will. Bright and vibrant spice, liquorice and olive notes fill the palate whilst a heady perfume of violets and bowls of cherries fill the galss.
Highly detailed and elegantly structured this is a perfect fit for legs of lamb and cuts of beef with a good marbling to them.
