
For eight generations this Domaine has been producing elegant Cru Beaujolais from some of the best climats. The current custodians, brothers Claude-Emmanuelle and Louis-Benoît Desvignes, have been at the helm since 2002 and have converted the entire Domaine to organics.
This expression of Corcelette has a firm almost meatyness to it, charcuterie and espelette, whilst nicely structured with a volcanic lilt to it keeping it lithe and fresh. They may not get as much air time as the "Gang of four" does, but these are wines of excellent measure and are worth seeking out.
