Brett Grocke was awarded James Halliday’s 2021 Winemaker of the Year and credited as “a fiercely committed and proud sixth-generation Barrossan winemaker”. With Eperosa we have seen him create some great Shiraz & Grenache, so we were excited to discover this exploration into  Grenache Blanc.

From a small plot in Brett’s famous Magnolia Vineyard, only 700 bottles of this wine were produced from an equal blend of his 2019 & 2020 vintages, topped up with a little Grenache Gris and Semillon.

Surprisingly savoury, but still with that familiar stone fruit and grapefruit skin. An interesting drop to add to any collection from this exciting label.
