Fanny Sabre has established herself as a leading producer of quality natural Burgundy wines. Taking over the family estate after her fathers passing, she was under the guidance of Philippe Pacalet who assisted her in her early steps of farming organically and vinification.
Fanny has found an impressive balance and voice to her wines, walking a line between classicism and expressive vibrancy, the volume of fruit, pronounced aroma and structure across the cuvee's is impressive.
Her holdings are across a few communes with a large portion around Beaune and small parcels in Pommard, Volnay, Saint-Romain and Santenay all of which are farmed organically.
Bright fresh and full on the nose, nicely weighted and a keen edge in the mouth, this is an excellent rendition of Bourgogne Blanc from a talented wine maker who's star is on the rise. Get on board.
