The wines of Anselme Selosse have pushed the boundaries of what champagne is and what it can be, a rebel rousing call to many who have followed his visions and practices, a one man revolution. His guiding principal: "We should take what nature has given us and not interfere."
In 2010 the Lieux-dits Collection was released to showcase the six villages that make up the Selosse holdings, le bout de Clos is a Pinot noir Chardonnay blend from Montaign de Reims.
80% Pinot Noir anad 20 % Chardonnay, this is an extraordinary cuvee, cherries, spiced pears, chamomile and scones, oxidative and saline with orange and some toffee, deep yet profound with a freshness from the slash of chardonnay in its composition.
We are lucky to have many different discouragement dates, please take into account that these are descriptions of the cuvee in general, not to the specific bottling advertised.
