Eric Pfifferling used to be a beekeeper, he would sell the grapes from his 4 hectare vineyard to the local cooperative; the vines had originally been bought by his grandmother. Eventually he decided to start making wine himself, a decision we can all be grateful for.
Respectful of their soils and plants, Eric is a master in the art of expressing the finesse of southern grape varieties. Very pure wines, explosive of fruit, so drinkable.
This is composed mostly of Carignan 90% and 10% Grenache grown on soil with a prevalence of sand and clay and sprinkled with pebbles called "galets". Highly floral with crisp red fruits and that trademark energy and finesse, pure and flowing.
This is a rare magnum from a cult producer, this will be snapped up fast.
