
When the estates of Dr Loosen of the Mosel and Jim Barry of Clare Valley, both so synonymous with high-quality Riesling, decided to collaborate on a winemaking adventure, our expectations were high.
The ‘Wolta Wolta’ cuvée uses premium fruit from Jim Barry’s Lodge Hill Vineyard. With German craftsmanship and creative license in mind, this wine is set apart from its other Clare Valley counterparts; wild-fermented in German oak supplied by Loosen.
Structured by a tight chalky grip, with notes of apple sorbet, lime and lavender. Australian in the streets, German in the sheets.
