Marquis d'Angerville truly is one of the great estates of Burgundy and one of the finest in Volnay. With a reputation for excellent sites, less is more winemaking mentality and old clones, they craft age worthy wines that have depth, are highly aromatic, immensely detailed and full of complexity. A producer who's wines we eagerly anticipate each year, always wishing we could get more.

Freimets is a floral driven wine that is quite pure, lifted notes of black cherry, forest floor, earthen tones and a little spice. Medium weighted, elegantly structured with firm tannins that stop the right side heavy. Delicious in their youth but as always will handsomely reward those who can hold off for a few years.
