Renaud Bruyère and Adeline Houillon are young winemakers from the Jura who produce a small spread of wines from a tiny 4.5 hectares that are very low yielding making their wines scarce and very easily over subscribed. From France to Japan and everywhere in between these humble looking bottles are coveted by wine enthusiasts for their vitality, purity and poise.
A wine of amazing detail that presents so composed effortless, all the hallmarks of the Jura in abundance but never feeling out of balance. 95% Chardonnay and 5% Savagnin both from old barrels topped up. Saline, wet stone, nuts and lemon juice all sluiced together but falling into its right place. Depth and detail abound for these rare wines for a cult producer of the region.
