
Steve Pannel won the Jimmy Watson with this wine back in 2014, and it was not a one off.
Made as an ode to one of his favorite styles of the Northern Rhone, St Joseph, this is beautifully fluid and mineral fresh. Medium bodied, this is all grilled meat and bacon fat with some juicy blue black fruits flowing through it and punctuated with dried herbs and olive tapenade.
This is wine made for braised beef, using all the fine tannins and mineral clarity to cut through and to complement.
