This sommelier-turned-winemaker has had extensive wine experience through Europe, her hospitality career spans her native Netherlands, the UK and Belgium.
But it was time spent with Noella Morrantin and Bertrand Jousset that spurred her into full time wine making starting out as a negoce label whilst she searches for her own vineyards. Her wine making journey has not been confined to France, having spent a number of vintages here in Australia with James Erskine, Jasper & Sophie Button and Mark Warner and Alicia Basa at Borrachio whilst creating a brace of wines in the Adelaide Hills of her own.
Fine character with lots of minerality and citrus fruit. Fresh acidity and an elegant shape as it transition’s from middle palate to finish giving vibrancy and poise.
The wine is named after the Banksia, an Australian native flower also referencing the wines Lisanne also makes in Australia with the artwork done by Sydney artist Pili Basa
