François Cotat crafts some of the Loire Valley’s most singular, age-worthy Sancerre. Working steep, flint-laced slopes in Chavignol, his wines defy the typical Sauvignon Blanc mold—fermented wild, aged in old oak, and released only when ready. The 2022 vintage is particularly striking: vivid, structured, and already showing that quiet intensity Cotat is revered for. We’ve secured small quantities of four cuvées—each a distinct expression of place.
