Andre Perret is without a doubt one of the finest producers in the Rhone Valley, most famously for his Condrieu. Here is another stellar cuvée coming out of Saint Joseph, with an average vine age of 30 years, this 50/50 blend of Marsanne & Rousanne is fermented in 50% stainless steel and 50% oak (about 20% of which is new) and aged for a year.

 The fruit really lingers with mouth-coating fresh melon and pear with a rich creamy finish with balanced acidity. A great shout for anyone who loves Burgundy and is looking to expand their horizons. This wine loves food so serve with anything from grilled fish, chicken or pasta in a rich, creamy sauce.
