The wines of Ceritas are about as rare as any from California, a husband and wife project that is all focused on unique expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir primarily.

This bottling comes from several top sites along the Sonoma Coast including Charles Heintz, Porter-Bass and Occidental Valley. The wine is fermented in neutral barrels to add richness while limiting the oak influence on the purity of the fruit.

The 2018 Chardonnay Marena offers pretty floral, green herbs and nutty tones with a core of quince. The medium-bodied palate is lively and expressive, with ever-changing flavour layers and a long finish that hints at more to come.
