Named after Major General Charles Palmer of the English Military who once owned the property, Chateau Palmer is one of a handful of estates affectionately referred to as a 'Super Second', owing to its ability to craft wines deemed above its ranking.

Holding its 3eme classification since 1855, this is one Chateau that would most definitely move up if this were held again, having acquired many high quality parcels after that famous list was composed all those years ago.

Comprised of half Cabernet Sauvignon and half Merlot with a splash of Petit Verdot to round it out, its classic style with textbook depth and intensity that move through all the hallmarks of spice, chocolate, cedar and cigars, this is a Chateau that is hard to go past that ages exceedingly well.

Coming in their original timber crate these bottles have excellent labels and fill levels into the base of the neck.
