Pontet-Canet has only had three owners in it's long history, the first which gave part of it's name, the second a Bordelaise wine merchant who helped build it's fame and the third and current family has fine tuned all that came before.

The Tesseron family started to estate bottle in 1975 and slowly upgraded the estate piece by piece. Pontet-Canet has one of the largest productions of all classified etsates in the Medoc, and the current stewards are fully aware and respectful of its rich history.

Known for it's power and elegance, a classic tannic structure and a full yet sinewy palate these wines are always well regarded and highly sort after.

Still in their original cases these bottles have excellent labels, closures and fill levels.
