Alain Verset is the son of the late Louis Verset & nephew of the cult figure Nöel Verset, who is Northern Rhone Royalty. Having handed over to his daughter Emmanuelle back in 2016, things have received a softer touch and some fine tuning which in small increments has raised the bar at the Domaine. 

Black cherry, cassis and a few twists of black pepper, lightly floral and a little charr. Juicy yet structured on the palate, offering mineral-laced dark plums, cherry stones and a little smoke that slowly turn sweeter on the back end. Vibrant young tannins zip along with a light mineral persistence.
