Born into a Champagne winegrowing family, Elise Deschannes decided to leave her successful career in the banking industry in 2006 to dedicate herself to management of the family domain in the magnificent Les Riceys. Aware of her responsibility as guardian of this precious terroir, it seems only natural that Elise has adopted environmentally friendly production methods such as minimal treatment of the vineyard, selective harvest and manual work of the soils. Vinification is done with indigenous yeast and the use of sulphur is kept to a minimum (naturally!)

This single vineyard, 100% Pinot Noir is vinified and aged in sandstone and bottle-aged for at least 24-months with no added dosage. The rich golden colour tells you everything you need to know: rich, elegant, bursting with personality. Striking flinty minerality with a warm embrace of ripe stone fruit flesh with a greedy and fine finish. These are Champagne’s for the real Champagne lovers.
