Eperosa is a small, family-owned winery in Krondorf, Barossa Valley. With two estate vineyards, the winery is off-grid, solar-powered, and organically run. Their motto, "wines built from the dirt up," reflects a focus on organic farming, creating healthy soils and resilient vines. Hand-picked and sorted fruit comes from balanced pruning and minimal intervention.
Yellow gold in color. Slightly oxidative on opening, but if you enjoy Fino, Manzanilla, or Jura wines, you won't mind. After a night of air, it cleans up beautifully, revealing vibrant tangerine and lemon squash aromas, with salty, briny notes. Reminiscent of Luis Seabra's Douro whites.
The palate matches the nose—complex with the same flavors. Medium-bodied, textural yet vibrant, finishing with fine mineral acidity. Excellent on its own or with food.
