Famille Savary is a generational domaine based in Maligny in Chablis, started by Francine and Olivier in 1984 and now being joined by their two sons since 2015. Having around 20 hectares across 17 different villages, their reputation for wines of quality whilst being quintessential to the terroir and traditions of the region. 

Covering the spectrum from petit chablis to grand cru their wines come from slopes redolent with clay and limestone on ancient Kimmeridgian soils. Working instep with nature and biodiversity their gravity fed winery is a mix of steel tanks and older oak formats to capitalise on the nuances of their many plots.

The Fourchaume is is an elegant rendition from a storied vineyard poised and bright.. Light orchard fruits and a touch of mealiness combine with fine acidity and mineral terroir, light white flowers and that Chablis earthiness pulling things into balance taming the richness so as to frame up nicely.
