Gentle farming, lower yields, native yeasts, and long low temperature carbonic macerations are his hallmarks that help to produce Cru Beaujolais of immense purity and finesse.

This famed vineyard is a stand out for Jean each year, vibrant, detailed and attractive on the nose, floral and spice qualities offering succulence and immense drinkability.  2016 is a vintage that shows generosity but lovely balance, copious amounts of blueberries and the like but with that unique earthy frame and dimension of structure and finesse he is able to coax out year on year.
