Respectful of the soils and plants, Eric is a master in the art of expressing the finesse of Southern Rhone grape varieties. Very pure wines, explosive of fruit, so drinkable.
Eric Pfifferling used to be a beekeeper, he would sell the grapes from his 4 hectare vineyard to the local cooperative; the vines had originally been bought by his grandmother. Eventually he decided to start making wine himself, a decision we can all be grateful for.
Tavel Rose is a blend of Grenache and Cinsault that sees an 8-10 day maceration, hence it's darker than all other rose styles, and is elevaged on it's fine lees bringing depth and complexity. Pure with grip and texture this is a style of rose that differs greatly from its peers in Provence and deliciously so, making this one of the most sought after wines from all of France.
