The wines of Valette are unique, detailed and compelling. They have been farming in the Macon since the 50's and set up their own domaine in the late 70's, always with oxidative handling, an expert use of lees contact and no filtration.

One of the finest producers not only in the Macconais, but in all France, with their wines highly acclaimed the world over for their texture, definitive character and age-worthiness.

MesdemoiZelles comes from a 70 year old parcel in the village of Vinzelles where the soils contain higher amounts of limestone producing a level of freshness and intensity to the wine.  the wine is aged for 30 months in older barrels. Rounded and full, with white flowers pastry and nut butter notes with that tense line of mineral acidity radiating from the core with some spice on the finish.
