Marquis d'Angerville truly is one of the great estates of Burgundy and one of the finest in Volnay. With a reputation for excellent sites, a less is more winemaking mentality and old clones, they craft age worthy wines that have depth, are highly aromatic, immensely detailed and full of complexity. A producer who's wines we eagerly anticipate each year, always wishing we could get more.

Coming from a warm year this shows ripeness on the nose yet fresh sleek in the mouth. Black fruits with plenty of spice, plummy and lifted florals. Good intensity yet  medium weighted for the vintage, great minerality with focus and length.
