Penfolds has a long and storied history of wine production in Australia that has spread across the globe. From the pioneering wine trials of the late Max Schubert to the empire it is today led by Peter Gago and his team, striving for the dizzying heights of Grange or the every day consistency of the affordable Bin series, they have you covered.  

What started as another of Schubert's trials the 707 was envisaged as the Grange of Cabernet from Australia’s iconic producer of age worthy red’s, their first single varietal Cabernet was first produced in 1964.  This is an exceptional vintage as judged by Penfolds as well as the critics, still wrapped in the original tissue paper from all those years ago. 

Concentrated with stunning depth, rich and velvety the handful of bottles we have are really starting to unfurl wonderfully now.
