This small Domaine is newish to Australian shores and is really on the money for quality and value. A family estate from father to son for three generations, and with links to the legendary Armand Rousseau, these wine keeps getting better year on year.
From fifty-year-old vines in the very south of the appellation planted over rocky soils on a heavy limestone base from one of the top vineyards of the region.
With notes of blackberries, pepper, morello cherries and soft spices. Its supple fruit, structured by velvety tannins and a mineral freshness with a balanced subtle imprint of oak from approximately 1/3 elevage in new barrels.
