Pierre-Yves Colin is the eldest son of Marc Colin, having worked as winemaker at the family's from 1994 to 2005, he went on to established his own family domaine with his wife Caroline Morey, from vineyards they inherited from their families.

Coming with a wealth of experience and knowledge they have rapidly become a famed estate, regularly in the conversation as one of Burgundy’s best producers.

Fastidious farming, incredible attention to detail, use of larger demi-muid barrels, and long elevage, makes each cuvee a clear expression of its place and a study in the mineral-driven nuance that makes up Burgundy.

Now with sons Mathis and Clément joining the fold this really is a family estate, This is not only one of the top domaines in Chassagne, but also one of the finest domaines in the world which is remarkable for one of this age.

The 2021 Pinot Rose is an exceptional example of the style and a fantastic alternative to the rose of Provence.

Whole bunch pressed fruit from some exceptional plots in Burgundy, red fruits alittle spice and a fresh stone tinged minerality giving a little nod to where its from. This is a immensley drinkable rose and an afordable entry to the sheer brilliance of Pierre-Yves's wines.
