Domain Chevillon was started in the early 1900s by Symphorien Chevillon who started working approximately thirty acres of vines in Nuits-Saint-Georges giving the Domaine his surname that has lasted generations.
The finesse and complexity of their spread of wines are appreciated throughout the world, and from a region that does not posses any grand cru rated vineyards, Chevillon are seen as a true benchmark of the appellation.
The 2019 is quite cool and restrained on the nose, subtle red berries, currants with a fine layer of spice and light purple flowers. Sprightly, medium to full weighted palate elegant of texture on a fresh yet muscular frame. Good depth and length now whilst young which will develop nicely with some cellaring should you not be able to hold out.
