Palladius is a blend of all eleven of Swartland’s permitted white varieties, with old, bush-vine Chenin Blanc being the largest portion alongside Grenache Blanc, Clairette Blanche, Viognier, Verdelho, Roussanne, Marsanne, Semillon Blanc, Palomino and Colombard all basket pressed and sent to a mix of amphora and concrete eggs.

Pale straw with a green tinge this moves through citrus into stone fruit with delicate aromatics of lemongrass and white flowers. A little honey, textured mouthfeel and a light pithy bitterness that binds it all together. Unique and thought provoking.
