One of the first few vintages made by Les Francis after taking over from the great Colin Preece, this is another of our rare collectables bottled in a 650ml format, named after Mount Chalambar in the Grampians but labeled as Australian Burgundy as was done in those days.
There is potential for this to be a blend, but it's composition would be unknown. The Chalambar wines as they stand today are all shiraz from a number of plots across Western Victoria.
The label is in great condition as is the closure with a fill level hard to classify oweing to the unique botlle shape, it is on the lower side.
