The Trimbach family is as close to Alsatian Royalty as you can get, their vineyards on some exceptional terroir with a number of them Grand Cru, yet a moniker they have never really used to signify the exceptional quality of wine they have produced for generations. Time honoured traditions, attention to detail and an almost blatant avoidance of modernisation has seen the Trimbach name become a seal of quality and approval in and of its self.

Clos St Hune is one of the greatest wines not only of Alsace but indeed the world of wine. From the heart of Rosacker this is a wine of purity and excellence year on year. Pure, lean, sleek almost skeletal but with tension and energy. Floral, pomaceous and ripe white fruits, saline and dry with chalky depth and a complex weight, a sheer elegance to its refined power and length.

The wines of Trimbach live for an exceedingly long time, shy yet pure in their youth, time in bottle helping them to evolve. This is living.
